Love this. Perfect for holding my current use fountain pen. Half my pens don’t have a clip or roll stop so it’s nice to be able to set it in this and know it won’t go rolling off the desk.Shape and colour are great. Simple and easy to use.

first the woodwork is very clean,no roughness and good linesover all, it’s a beautiful piece, it’s understated as opposed to gaudy or ornamented and works well in a variety of contexts – which is nice to showcase the beauty of a pen as opposed to compete with itit’s amazingly handy to have a parking spot for your favorite writing instrument during busy days (reach for it and it’s there)the horizontal position is better for fountain pens, but also I find you can have it in close grab distance but you hand passes over it, so you don’t knock the pen as can happen with vertical organizersone star off for having a raw bottom as opposed to feet or felt or something to minimize sliding…easy addition, but it’s a detail I’d like to see them addressotherwise beautiful piece

Does not fit pencils – only shorter pens and markers.Beautiful product!

I have a wooden desk in my study, and when I’m not using my pen, I’ve been wanting a place to keep it. If you’re organized, you understand the need for “a place for everything and everything in its place.” Until now I kept it on my desk and hoped for the best. I have a pen box with my collection, but I need something handy for my everyday pen (in this case, a Parker Jotter XL). It’s harder to lose a pen when you have a designated place for it. I not only have a holder, it fits the wooden accessories of my desk. You can see it, along with a few other items from Amazon. This is simply perfect, a classy, dignified wooden holder for a pen or two that goes with everything else. This is a relatively small thing, but it really matters to me.

This is a very fine pen tray that is a fine item. It is handsomely made, the wood is nicely finished and would be an asset on any desk. It is wide enough to hold 2 or three regular pens or perhaps two Montblanc-type fat pens. Simple and unadorned, it fits a modern aesthetic. The only thing is it may slide or shift a bit since the bottom is finished and smooth, which is a nice touch as some manufacturers leave the bottom ugly. But this is finished all around. I guess you could add your own grips to the bottom or some felt or velvet if wanted. But I know this will be going on my work desk to class it up. It would also be an inexpensive gift for the stationery lover. It will be appreciated, no doubt!

Deep enough to keep your pen/pencil handy when your desk has more going on than just a cup of coffee, but very unobtrusive at the same time. The inside portion has a bowl-like edge so if you put coins in, you can easily retrieve them. The outside is roughly 7 1/2 inches long, so will fit most writing instruments.Finish is smooth and a consistent stain.

This is a nice little tray. The wood is a pretty color, and it’s a simple, sophisticated design. I think it’s ideal for pens and mechanical pencils; it’s not quite long enough for a lot of standard non-mechanical pencils. It’s a nice way to keep a favorite pen or two front and center on your desk, especially if your favorite is a fountain or brush pen (which usually should be stored horizontally). The only thing I didn’t love is that there’s no feet or anything on the bottom. A simple layer of felt or anything else would’ve made this feel a little more finished (and worthy of the price), and it would keep it from scratching surfaces if it moves around at all. Overall still good, though.
