This is a very sturdy shelf. Unfortunately, mine arrived with the bag containing the screws and a hex wrench missing. Since I needed to use it immediately, I drove to a local store and purchased the screws listed in the installation instructions. I then found that the M6-20mm screws designated S-C used to fasten Bar C were not long enough to cover all of the Bar C threads. I substituted 25mm screws instead.If you are using this in the self-supporting mode, note that the bottom bars (Bar C) does not extend much past the half-way depth on the shelf. If your load is balanced, that should not be a problem. However, if the item you place on the shelf if front heavy, the shelf may tip over.I contacted Vivo support regarding the missing screws and the short screw spec, but they said that there was nothing they could do since I purchased it thru Amazon. After another query by me, they did say that they would forward my comments to their QA department.

I really like this product! We used it for a desktop computer to create more space on the desk, and it has performed amazingly. I do recommend tightening the clamps down firmly. So far, I haven’t experienced any issues with it collapsing, unlike some reviews I’ve read. I believe this is because I haven’t exceeded the weight limit, as I only have the desktop on it. I would rate it a 10 out of 10 and would definitely buy it again! I will update this review if it collapses or if anything happens.
