About this item
- Multipurpose Design: Whether you’re having breakfast in bed or working from home, this tray has what you need. When functioning as a lap desk, use the full-width media bar for phones & tablets. The lowered front edge makes usage comfortable.
- Generous Surface: With surface dimensions of 21.8” wide and 13.9” deep, this tray is large enough for your 17.3-inch laptop or wide enough for two or more devices. You’ll have plenty of space for writing, reading, or eating.
- Easy Storage: Simple to operate, the legs of the tray fold in underneath, making it slim enough to slide into a narrow cupboard or closet, display upright on your counter, or slide under the bed.
- Portable and Convenient: Our bed tray has built-in handles to make carrying it from place to place a breeze. Decorative and sturdy, the handles make it easy to move the tray aside or carry it to the kitchen for a snack refill.
- Solid Bamboo Construction: Our bed tray is made with strong, lightweight, sustainable bamboo. This Earth-friendly material provides a hard, solid surface. Bamboo resists warping with changes in humidity, keeping the surface flat and stable.

I needed a new adult bed tray for myself and I made the right choice of picking this one. It’s perfectly sturdy, but please watch out for splinters! I had one or two in me from grabbing it aside from the side handles and it wasn’t fun but it’s not that big of a deal since it’s made of wood and obviously not painted. I highly recommend it!

I agonized over this purchase because they all look so similar. Great choice! No rough edges at all, perfect size (large enough for a full meal, a laptop, or to fit over a big guy!). The legs are sturdy! I am a happy customer.

I could not find a Laptop tray for left-handed people. Unfortunately (I won’t go into the reason why) I have a laptop with a numeric keypad. This automatically puts my hands/fingers in the wrong position. So I am constantly hitting the wrong keys. This is especially true for the screen mouse. I am constantly hitting the right side of the screen mouse instead of the left. Unbelievably irritating when I am trying to scroll. If I had purchased a right-handed laptop tray, it would have exacerbated the problem. Therefore, this tray gets 5 stars just because I found something usable for a left-handed person. The tray is nice looking. It has a nice finish. The side hand holes are extremely useful, and I like the little tray the length of the tray that holds glasses, pens, electronics, etc. That said, it collapsed on me several times before I got the hang of removing it from my lap and placing it on the floor with the legs at an angle (not too brillant here). Also–but I knew this when I purchased it, so I knew what I was getting–it’s a bit tall and wide, so it does not fit into my chair securely. I have actually gotten use to the height. As far as the width, it leans. But it does not tilt, nor does it collapse on my lap. Also, the inside lip–spacebar side of computer is slightly rough on the inside, so real problem, however. This is listed as a bed tray, and it probably would have been perfect for that.

I needed a workstation I could use at home while I was recovering from ankle surgury, so something with clearance for me to elevate my leg was necessary. This fit nicely, with my “knife hand” picture showing the clearance between the tray and my leg on the bed. From the beginning, it was packaged well beyond what I expected, with thick foam for each corner, and cellophane wrapped inside the box. The legs unfolded easily, but are only friction locked, so time will tell if they need to be tightened to keep them folded when I want it flat. The tray maintains a nice flat bottom with the legs folded, if that matters to you. I use a Dell Precision M6600 17″ laptop, which fit nicely on this tray, with enough clearance in back for the power cable to plug in without being strained. The power cable does overhang the lip designed for proping up your tablet or phone, but doesn’t make contact while connected; barely. I imagine it would be very easy to use a drill to create a cutout for lower cable connection requirements. There is plenty of room for side connections, end more than enough room for a coffee cup when I moved it to one side. I very much appreciate the lower lip on the front of the tray since the last one I used was higher than the wrist rest on my laptop, and left a painful crease on the bottom of my wrists after use. My thinnest Asus laptop still clears the front lip with plenty of room to avoid that problem with this tray. I can’t tell if it is sealed, or if it would leak of I spilled something on the tray, but the fittings look tight enough that I am not really worried about it yet. The back lip for propping up your tablet or phone was open enough to accept my phone with a thick Otterbox, so I imagine it will accept most tablets as well. The tray feels sturdy overall, appears well made, and is quite light. The legs are on phillips screw hinges, and appear to be easy to adjust/tighten if necessary. I gave the durability rating 5 stars for these reasons, but will come back to adjust if something changes my mind. I’m very happy with this product initially, and glad I bought this one. Enjoy!
