It came rolled up and didn’t lay perfectly flat. A few seconds with a steam iron and it’s perfect. You’d need a little time make sure there’s no moisture left in it after that if putting on wood but it seems dry and I am using on glass, so right to work. The two sides appear the same to me. It’s not non-slip on one side but that’s what I wanted. This way I have two sides to use. To me, it feels like a stiff, dense felt. It pads my arms a bit and helps keep hand prints off the glass while looking like it belongs there instead of using a towel. Is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for with one star off for having to iron it.
