Great little bells. Nice weight. Lovely finish. Pleasant sound. Great size at about 5″. I bought 3 for gifts. A friend of mine has fourth stage cancer and said in her chemo treatments, there is a bell called The Joy Bell that people ring when they finish their treatment and people rejoice with them. She will never be able to ring the bell because she will always be on some form of chemo now. So she bought her own bell and rings it at home every time a happy event happens. She gave one to me and it touched my heart so much I bought these bells for family to keep in their homes and ring every time a happy event happens in their lives. I hope they will treasure them.

Beautiful, beautiful little bell! As a child, raised in a 3 story antebellum home in Natchez, Ms. by an elderly grandmother, I always had a bell placed on the bedside table if I was sick and wanted/needed something. Keeping up with “tradition”, I raised my daughter (now 36) with a bell beside her bed to ring when she was sick.Of course, times have changed, but I’ve not been able to forget how special a little bell was as a child when going thru chicken pox, measles etc..After perusing thru a zillion bells/reviews, I finally decided on this one for my daughter and grandchildren, hoping for the best.This little jewel is so very pretty, small and has a tinkling sound which is not “loud” but carries well enough to hear from a distance. When not needed, it’s really attractive sitting on a shelf in my daughter’s home library room. Please disregard typos, poor grammar.
