I bought this for at work. My boss didn’t like the idea of me using a regular cup for a pen holder. I wanted something that was different. I love dragons so when I found this I couldn’t resist. It is both book ends and pen holders. They hold way more pens then expect. They look amazing in my office and they are heavy duty. I was expecting them to be cheaply made but I am excited to say they are very sturdy.

These are well made, and there is a good amount of space in the cups. They are not overly heavy, but are sturdy enough for a typical amount of books. I have them holding a some cookbooks, and they work wonderfully.

Not as lightweight as I was expecting, which is good. Details are great, and it was well packed to avoid shipping breaks. I put some decorative rocks in the cups to add weight and hold the fake plants and that worked great. The other one has various pens etc but the rocks work well there too. Probably didn’t need them honestly. The only downside was the pieces themselves had a heavy urine smell. Wasn’t on the package only the bookends themselves. I sprayed them with some Lysol and fabreeze and let them dry and that seems to have taken care of it. I’m assuming they sit in a warehouse in China for a while before being shipped to Amazon for sale so no biggie, just something to be aware of.
