I didn’t want a giant pouch with zippers and pockets, I have a bag for that. I was having a really hard time finding a low profile legal pad holder (there’s a lot of letter size pad holders but not legal pad holders). This one was perfect and I honestly can’t find another low profile one in store or on Amazon. It’s simple, no flair, and even has a small slot for a couple loose leaf pieces of paper. It has no pen holder but that would ruin the low profile anyways if I kept a pen in there. It is also very rigid and the slot for the back of the legal pad fits snugly, don’t force your pad cause you could rip it but just make sure it’s aligned and flush before sliding it in the slot. This is a great minimal tool to add. Another thing is that I wouldn’t even have written a review but the employee added a nice hand written note (yes hand written not just a photo copy) thanking me for supporting their business. I’m a sucker for the little things.

I have been looking for one of these portfolios off and on for a few years and finally found the perfect one! I have a really old one that I’ve had for over 30 years, but it is starting to fall apart. I use it for storing a few papers and as a hard surface to write on when doing my Bible study, jotting down book notes, or whatever. I prefer the harder surface on this one over most of the others that are too padded. I like having the low-profile pocket inside also! Stop looking and buy this!

This is a nice portfolio for legal paper. It looks very good, it’s sturdy, and it has a nice pocket. It was easy to insert the legal pad. It’s a really good value and I’ve not had any issues with it so far.
