They’re inexpensive and do exactly what’s needed and are easy to clean. I use them in the kitchen for cookbooks and I have some in my study to keep open books while I’m researching.

I’m writing this review because I see many of the negative reviews addressing the same point, which unbeknownst to them is a mistake. Many wrote that the object was not as described because it is frosted. In order to prevent scratches, the company puts a protective coating (see pictures on the product page) on BOTH sides of the acrylic. It’s on really well and it took some time to peel them off (start in the corner) but once removed, it reveals a super clear book holder. I bought 12 of them for a meeting and every single one was perfect- no cracks, no scratches. We personalized the back of each with the person’s name and so everyone knew where to sit at the meeting and could rest their books/notes on it. Side benefit, when one person knocked over their cup, everyone’s papers were protected. I thought this was a great price for a wonderful product and I felt bad that people were getting the wrong information. I highly recommend this product
