I got my first Innovera gel keyboard wrist rest many years ago and it held up extremely well. However, it had a cloth type covering so eventually it finally started to come apart at the seams. I loved how comfortable the gel was over the years. I have had some of the memory foam ones but they just were not enough support. I specifically went searching for this brand and even with the updates to their wrist rest I am pleased. Also, the covering seems to be more sturdy so I hope this will last me just as long as the last one did.

This is a nice product. Gives firm suppprt while using the keyboard. Its a bit costlier than some others but the quality is well worth it.. Since this is pretty heavy, it stays nicely in place while typing which is not the case with other cheaper products

I have carpal tunnel on my dominant side and I have an office job with lots of typing. One day my whole hand swelled up and I had shooting pain from my fingertips to my elbow. I had to make a change in my ergonomics. I did get a hand brace, but I also got this and a mouse pad from Innovera Products, to give me further support everyday while I worked. I have had these for about 3 weeks now and I haven’t worn the hand brace in 2 weeks and I haven’t had any pain since I made this change. This gel itself is so nice and squishy and it is so comfortable on my wrist. This is an awesome product and is really essential for anyone who uses a computer all day long!

This thing is amazing. It’s exactly what I needed to relieve pressure on my wrists and better my circulation to the fingers. There were a few months of time where my hand was going numb in the pinky and ring fingers, it began to stretch down my wrist towards my elbow in a persistent tingling sort of numbness until I lost all feeling in those fingers and it began to effect the others. Getting a gel rest for my wrist, both for the keyboard and mouse, helped relieve the pinch of the nerves and allowed the feeling to be restored in my right hand. Since picking this up, I have no had any more issues with this. These are great in general for those who spend a lot of time with their keyboard (or mouse, for the mouse pad version) or have any sort of issues with their wrists. I have and will continue to recommend them to others who spend a lot of time on their computers- or even if they don’t. The gel is nice and soft, the rubber is smooth and they are also very durable, so unless you go stabbing the thing, it’s unlikely to rip or tear. These things are a life (and nerve) saver.

This works great. It DOES need to be an inch or two away from the keyboard to work best. No problem — you’re just not paying for more size than you need. Since I have to move it around sometimes, I prefer not to have a bigger mass to deal with. It’s not squishy, it’s pretty firm. But it’s comfortable. And, I like that it’s easy to wash.I’m not sure what the purpose of the “indent” is. My left hand is more comfortable, resting on the thicker part, than my right hand that has to rest on the thinner part.

The wrist rest is heavy because it is gel. It is gel so it does not collapse like foam. The rest does not move on a glass table. The rest can be cleaned easily as the cover is not cloth. It looks well made and seems like it should lastI would buy this item if this is what you are looking for. I ‘paired’ it with a Kensington Gel mouse wrist rest with a new 3M mouse pad. Everything works for me.
