My son just turned 8 and is really interested in gemstones, crystals and rocks in general. So, for his birthday we bought him these, a large 80mm glass “sapphire” that came with a display stand, crystals, and an actual metal safe! When he opened his present to see all of his “diamonds”, he nearly cried! These were his favorite because of all the different colors! Photos do NOT do these little glass gems any justice whatsoever because I am a terrible photographer lol. The aurora borealis stone is beautiful, but it is just a painted on surface. So it will scratch off over time. These are not meant to be handled and tossed around as though they’re a bag of marbles though. They are intended for display purposes only and meant to be enjoyed as a knickknack. If dropped on a hard surface, they will break or at the very least, become scratched. All in all, worth EVERY penny just to see my son’s reaction. I want my own set now lol.

I bought this for my son pirate themed birthday party to go in the “hidden treasure” and the kids loved them! tTheyhave a little weight to them and feel very real. It’s a great way to have gems without having to get plastic ones.

glass diamonds came in a secured box with padding. the kids had some fun but shortly after noticed the color coating coming off. it was fun while it lasted and the size is great for little palms. it reflects well in the sunlight

Accurate size, arrived in perfect condition. Nice, clear k9 crystal with no bubbles or flaws, perfect for my treasure hoard project. Would make nice decorations, paperweights or party favors for adults. Edges can be a bit sharp and pointy, so I would keep away from kids. Best of several similar purchases.
