The desk is exactly what I expected: an inexpensive, occasional-use surface for a laptop or notepad. The legs fold out and snap into place, but the whole thing seems a little flimsy. Not that it won’t work for what I need, it’s just that it has that slightly flexible plastic toy feel. Again, it works fine, but it’s not robust by any means. My kids enjoy using it to sketch while watching TV on the couch, or using their laptops in bed to read or do homework. The storage space inside the tabletop is a nice touch, they keep their Kindles inside with note pads, pencils, stencils, etc.

The size is okay. The storage is convenient too. The downside are the following:1. The most important is the opening and closing of the 2 side legs. It doesn’t open and close smoothly. Overtime this will cause the legs connection to break. Since there is no cushion underneath it will be devastating.2. Some of the edges were not cut smoothly.

Perfect in almost every way. It’s sturdy, fits perfectly over my legs in a chair or on a bed (I’m 5.1″ average size woman), much more lightweight than I thought it would be, even filled with my office supplies. Easy to pick up and move with or without the legs open. I use it for my laptop (I have an 11″ MacBook Air; there is enough room for my magic mouse but if you have a larger laptop you may have to use just the trackpad. Laptop stays put and the top opens and closes easily. Fits everything I need inside, and the top is “scooped out” so you could even stack things inside if you need more height to. I was using a wooden tray for supplies with my laptop stacked on top of them, so this is a safer, cleaner and more convenient solution. For under $25, it has easily exceeded all my expectations!
