Bought it as a wrist rest and then started using it more as an elbow rest. This was due to me buying an ergonomic mouse. Feel is soft. Sturdy and not excessively squishy. Ruber sole provides a hard slide and not slipping and sliding all over the desk. Small in size but enough to serve it’s purpose. And material is super easy to wipe clean if need be. Overall a great product. PS. In regards to other reviews and the smell of the product, for me personally mine did not come with a strong oder. A new faint rubber product smell at first but not overwhelming. It’s been a handful of weeks since purchase and I can no longer smell any scent unless I bring it right up to my nose.

I’m on the computer all day at work so my wrist started to hurt. I would like it better if the gel was softer but it works pretty well. I took off one star because it smelled so bad at first. The smell actually got on my sleeves so I had to put the wrist rest outside for a few days!
