Though at first glance it doesn’t seem these are sturdy enough for a large load. But they are. They are well constructed. I used a roof and mesh design. The rods provide the strength and the mesh provides the “walls” and “floor”.I’m actually using these to hold small computer equipment, Raspberry Pi systems and power and networking for them. It works well for that.

Our office is remodeling and we got rid of all the plastic organizer trays. I was really torn between this one and the Safco Products Onyx Mesh Desk Organizer, Triple Tray, Black. Becuase of free shipping and the great price we chose this. I feel it is a little unstable since the trays are not attached. I also choose to use these on a bookshelf due to the bottom slipping around. On a desk I would definitely want to add little rubber spots to keep it from sliding off – but there is no place to put them. Since we have ordered sit stand desks and stability is an issue, plus I prefer the look of the Safco Mesh – I will not be reordering these unless I plan to use them in the bookcase. The others probably slip also since they are metal – but they are flat on the bottom and will accept rubber disks (I think). The only thing touching the bottom on these is the tip of the two arms in front and the long wire in back.

The product was excellent. I did have one issue. I thought the tray was the same as the 2 I already had. Turns out the tray had a different leg configuration but I was able to get it to work with the original 2. That was my fault for not looking more closely at the product photos.

Really great desk organizer for the price. I purchased 2 for my desk at work and I get a lot of compliments from clients and coworkers. They are very sturdy and have a clean look.
