Our county offers teachers grants for the classroom, I am definitely going to request a few of these for my students. The are middle schoolers and they like to sit in groups on the floor. I think they will like these. They are plenty wide. My laptop fits nicely. Getting up off the floor for me is a challenge, but for the kids, no way will they struggle.

I like to offer flexible seating options in my classroom. Many of my 4th graders like using this portable lap desk! I like that it is adjustable and so far it is holding up well.

This portable lap desk is pretty cool, and for my purposes (sitting on the couch reading or on iPad ) works well. I don’t use it as heavily as I thought I would, mainly because it is quite large and somewhat bulky. Once I was set up, it is quite comfortable to use. It has a very large working surface and the material is quite durable. It reminds me of grade school cafeteria lunch tray material.My niece was excited to try it out when she was in over Thanksgiving, but for her purposes (college student using laptop, phone and notebook) she found that it was wobbly and she had to prop it up with pillows for it to work. We could not adjust it tight enough for her to work on this without props.The price is reasonable for the quality of the materials used in this, and it will most likely last my lifetime. I really like the carrying handle which makes it very easy to transport, and looking forward to using this outside once the weather is a little more temperate. I would most likely purchase again, but not for any of the college age students in my life. Recommended.
