This Bible cover is so elegant with the gorgeous purple butterfly on a slight sheen material. Love the word, Blessed and the heartfelt scripture (Jeremiah 17:7) that sold me. Six months ago, I purchased my first Bible cover from Christian Art Gifts and loved it so much I decided to get a second one for another Bible of mine that I take to church! There are so many covers to choose from but one of the words I’ve come to love more and more in recent years is “blessed” because I have a beautiful family. When I saw this cover, I had to get it because not only does it have “Blessed” on it, it’s mostly purple, which happens to be my favorite color!This Bible cover comes in two sizes (medium and large) to fit a variety of sizes of Bibles. I purchased the medium one to fit myNIV, Women’s Devotional Bible, Hardcoverand it fits perfectly. That Bible is hardcover and measures 5 5/8 inches by 8 3/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches. At first, I was concerned it wouldn’t fit but it fits nicely. If your Bible is much bigger, you will want to purchase the large size. This cover is made in China of LuxLeather material and the purple parts have a man-made leather feel. The picture on it has a beautiful, purple butterfly as well as some flowers. On the front it says “Blessed” followed by “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17:7. The cover has a zipper all around it so you can make sure your Bible stays clean and dry if it’s raining outside. On the zipper is a small metal piece with a cross. The spine of the cover has a purple handle so you can carry it that way. On the inside of the cover are sleeves to slide the covers of your Bible into and there are two loops for pens, pencils, or Bible highlighters.When this cover arrived, I was delighted to see that it was even more beautiful in person than online! I absolutely love the design and it’s perfect and fitting for my beliefs. It fits my Bible perfectly and I’ve taken it to church a few times already. I love that it will keep my Bible safe from the elements on the way from the car to church. The zipper pull is easy to use but I wouldn’t yank too much on it since doesn’t seem as strong as my other one. I would just suggest being gentle with it and you should be fine. I have a pen and pencil in the loops and find those to be very handy. Perhaps the only thing I wish was different is that there is no pocket on the back of the cover like my other one, which isPurple Floral Bible / Book Cover – Philippians 4:13 (Large). I find the pocket handy to put church bulletins and papers in from that day but I can make do by putting them inside this cover or in my purse. I don’t know if the large size has a pocket.Overall, I’m very happy with this Bible cover! It fits my smaller Bible perfectly and I’m proud to carry it into church every Sunday! I love the colors and especially, the Blessed verse since it pertains to my beliefs. If you, or someone you know, would like a Bible cover, this one is a great option. It’s well-made and comes in two sizes, which should fit most Bibles. I’ve had great success with both of my covers and highly recommend them!
