Writing this a long-time collector who frequently likes to rebag his comics. I’ll start by saying I purchased 100 ct of the bags and boards on a prime day sale for $25. I think that’s a reasonable price for these. But normal asking price is $32 for the combo pack and despite everyone saying that this costs less than other bags and boards, I would disagree. If you shop around, you can easily find other companies selling 100 bags and boards for less. I’m also struggling with the fact that I can’t seem to purchase just the bags which is odd. I tend to reuse backboards but bags I swap out frequently and it seems like buying bags alone is not an option right now. Also want to mention that a 50-count bag and board combo is only 1 dollar less than a 100-count which makes no sense. All in all, the company needs to do a better job with the pricing. THAT BEING SAID…I do love the bags which is why I still give it 5 stars. At first, I didn’t know if I liked them as they are totally different from what I’m used to. They’re thicker and a bit wider than typical current/modern bags it seems. But after bagging a few comics I felt like these are nice because I may never need to replace them. Most bags get all wrinkly over time but I don’t see that happening with these. The boards I felt were just okay. They feel thinner and flimsier ironically than other boards I’ve purchased. All in all, these are my current favorite bags. I just wish I could buy them on their own (without the boards) and hoping the pricing gets straightened out on Amazon.
