I have a confession to make (no, not that kind of confession): I’m not at all religious and I don’t own a bible. However, I read a lot of other books, and one of my favorite things to do is annotate them. This bag is perfect for storing and carrying whichever book I’m currently annotating, as well as my annotation materials (highlighters, pens, tabs, etc.).In addition to the elastic band for keeping a book (or your bible) in place, there are so many pockets and sleeves and places to put things, it’s honestly impressive. It’s also very durable and easily doubles as a purse so you can carry the book around without also carrying another bag full of your other essentials. For anyone interested in using this bag the way I do, it does say BIBLE on the front, but I covered it with a rectangular pin so it doesn’t look like a bag of lies and is instead very cute.The bag easily gets 5 stars, but because it came with other things, I docked it a star as the highlighters leave a bit to be desired. I’ve used other bible highlighters, which are the very best for annotating any book, and I was excited about these because they’re double-sided. Unfortunately, while they all technically work and are great colors, several of them seem to be on the verge of drying out. I feel like they wouldn’t even make it through a full book. If you’re interested in annotation highlighters, bible highlighters are definitely the way to go though! My favorites are also rectangle-shaped like these are so they’ll fit in the highlighter holders in this bag perfectly.I obviously won’t be using the tabs for marking the books of the bible, but they do seem like they would be very useful and I would definitely use them if I had a reason. There are 9 blank tabs included and I’ll be using those for something for sure.Overall I am super happy with this bag and I recommend it to all book lovers, whether that book is the bible or not.

I ordered large and it fit my Bible well. The highlighters are beautiful . My Bible is so big I might need to adjust the holder inside. Anyway love it
