Sometimes bookshelves don’t provide quite enough space for a functional but nice-looking bookend. For example, we have a number of the Winsome Wood tall narrow shelving units (as well as some similar units with lights) so you can’t take up even an extra inch or so on either side for the bookends, right?The wood vertical ends of these OrgaNice Beech Wood Bookends measure 3-1/8″ x 5-1/8″ and unlike most other bookends of this style, the metal “L” that forms the support has been inserted in a slot on the bottom of the wood pieces, which are just slightly more that 1/4″ wide – amazing! They work perfectly for paperbacks and even larger sized hardcover books.If you’re into arts & crafts, it’s really easy to customize each set by gluing sea shells or other items to the side surfaces. We liked the first two sets so much we ordered two more.
